Just for fun, every year ‘bout this time, Shirley's mom, Joan Schumacher would recite this little ditty from an old poem:

Spring is here!
Spring has sprung!
The bird is on the wing
 
My, my, how absurd!
I thought the wing 
Was on the bird.

Election day is June 5th
•  VOTE EARLY, 
    VOTE  OFTEN.
•   VOTERS WANTED, 
     DEAD OR ALIVE.

Vote. Tuesday. June 5th. 
Then go home and eat popcorn.
